BAU also supports scientific publication and research collaboration with institutions in low-income and developing countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"intro-p wp-block-paragraph\">GREEN Sustainability Report 2025\/2026 \u2013 SDG 1: No Poverty, which identifies poverty reduction, sustainable livelihoods, scientific publication, and research collaboration with institutions in low-income and developing countries as BAU priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"intro-p wp-block-paragraph\">BAU&#8217;s wider SDG 1 activities address socioeconomic challenges associated with poverty through employability, entrepreneurship, social innovation, skills development and sustainable livelihoods. The Sustainability Report identifies INTERNISA and My Community as initiatives providing practical training, internships, digital-skills development and mentoring for youth, women and marginalized groups to improve economic prospects and access to sustainable employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"intro-p wp-block-paragraph\">BAU also works with local communities on poverty alleviation and social inclusion through community-development activities and partnerships, including support for vulnerable populations and initiatives that create income-generating opportunities for local producers and small entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-theme-palette-9-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-2\" style=\"background-color:#e31b2a\">Papers Co-authored with Low or Lower-middle Income Countries<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"intro-p wp-block-paragraph\">BAU promotes research collaboration with institutions in low-income and developing countries as part of its SDG 1 research approach, supporting international knowledge exchange and joint scientific engagement on poverty reduction and sustainable livelihoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-theme-palette-9-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-3\" style=\"background-color:#e31b2a\">No Poverty: FWCI<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"intro-p wp-block-paragraph\">BAU\u2019s research contribution to SDG 1 is assessed through Field-Weighted Citation Impact (FWCI), reflecting the citation influence of its poverty-related research relative to comparable global research in the same subject fields, publication years, and publication types.
