BAU spans multiple campuses across Jordan, applying sustainable landscaping practices adapted to diverse climates and soils. BAU prioritizes drought-tolerant plants and trees, such as cypress, pine, thuya, moringa, and aloe vera, alongside economically and environmentally beneficial crops like Quercus Ithaburensis, lote (Sidr), palm seedlings, grapes, and citrus. To conserve water, the university uses drip and subsurface irrigation and implements smart and soilless agriculture (hydroponics) in research areas. Green spaces are expanded at sites including Princess Rahma, Ajloun, and Al-Humra, supported by a plant nursery for propagating vegetation. Annual Tree Day events further enhance campus greenery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
