BAU actively promotes water conservation on its campuses and in the wider community through education, research, and practical initiatives. Through its International Research Center for Water, Environment, and Energy (IRCWEE), BAU engages in national and international projects to raise awareness about sustainable water management, climate adaptation, and pollution mitigation. Students participate in practical activities such as graduation projects, term papers, and community outreach, preparing them to act as agents of change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
BAU has implemented 12 off-campus wastewater treatment schemes benefiting over 3,500 people, alongside initiatives like educational visits, hands-on workshops, rainwater harvesting, drip irrigation, afforestation, low-flow toilets, and efficient handwashing systems. Projects such as WATER4MED further promote community engagement and international knowledge exchange. These efforts enhance awareness, skills, and sustainable water management, demonstrating BAU\u2019s commitment to SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
