BAU actively engages in cooperative planning for climate change\u2013related disasters, working closely with government entities and national partners to enhance preparedness and resilience, including responses to potential population displacement caused by environmental pressures. Leveraging its leadership in applied research on water and drought management, capacity building, and technology transfer, BAU provides knowledge and solutions that directly inform regional strategies for addressing climate-related hazards such as drought and water scarcity. The university also implements disaster-focused initiatives, including specialized training for farmers in the Jordan Valley on efficient water use, modern irrigation techniques, and safe reuse of treated water, thereby strengthening community resilience and supporting government efforts to mitigate the impacts of agricultural drought and food insecurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
