The Ministry is responsible for drilling artesian wells to extract drinking water that supplies the national system. Each BAU campus is equipped with a main water meter to record total consumption from this network, along with submeters monitoring specific building clusters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Water consumption primarily for drinking and sanitation purposes is measured monthly to ensure accurate monitoring and timely analysis of usage trends. In addition, collected rainwater is utilized internally for landscaping and irrigation, although this amount is not reflected in official billing records.
