BAU reports targeted financial assistance for low-income students and participation in national grants and loans. The sustainability report does not provide the student headcounts needed to calculate THE’s proportion.

15,980 BAU students benefited from grants and loans in 2025, demonstrating the substantial scale of financial support provided to students.

Among BAU’s intermediate diploma students, the benefit rate exceeded 99%, particularly in technical and applied programs. Eligible students received partial or full grants covering 45 credit hours, equivalent to approximately two-thirds of the diploma study plan.

In 2026, the number of BAU students benefiting from Student Support Fund grants and loans increased to 16,736 students, while the benefit rate for intermediate diploma programs remained above 99%.

BAU also operates its own Student Fund mechanism. For the 2025/2026 academic year, 505 bachelor’s and diploma students applied for support, with applications reviewed against the approved eligibility conditions and qualifying applications approved.

BAU’s Student Fund Section is institutionally responsible for disbursing grants and financial assistance to students and following up student grants and loans provided through external support mechanisms.
