BAU plays an active role in promoting conscious water usage in the wider community through training, awareness campaigns, and international collaborations. Through IRCWEE, the university organizes workshops, school programs, and capacity-building projects with partners like UNDP and the Ministry of Water and Irrigation. These initiatives focus on sustainable water management, wastewater reuse, and climate adaptation, empowering local communities to adopt water-saving practices and supporting national goals under SDG 6.
